Especially if you hear my iTouch, it's full of songs from bands and pop singers, even some R&B and Hip Hop. But look well and you'll see that most songs I have from a male artist is from Michael Franks(yes, that guy in the pic above with the porn stache).
Most of you may not be really familiar with him, but his songs were quite known in the 70's and 80's(Yes, I love old stuff). I remember thinking how the hell would someone sing a great song like "St.Elmo's Fire" in the 70's. They sang mostly disco tunes, hard rock or sappy songs meant for karaoke back then! HE'S THAAAT BAD ASS(at least, to me).
Anyways, so I mentioned above that you may not be really familiar with him but I think you do recognize one of his more famous(if not most)songs "The Lady Wants To Know". I'm pissed that it seems like that's the only Michael Franks song they play on the radio usually(not unless you listen to 105.1 or 96.3 during the wee hours of the morning. They usually play his other songs. Insomniac me knows).
I love lots of his songs. I kinda like his voice, too. His voice is really unmistakable to me. I always feel mellow and chill when I listen to his songs which is a stark contrast to all the head bangin' and booty bouncing stuff I hear.
If you ask me what's my fave song of his, well, it differs. I used to hear "St. Elmo's Fire" more than anything else before or "Down in Brazil". When I, erm, thought I was in love(chos), I listened to "Now I Know Why
So there, I said it. Michael Franks: My fave male singer. Now I wanna know WHO IS YOUR FAVE MALE SINGER? :D
