The Vinny Virus

A few weeks ago, my dashboard was flooded with tons of posts of Vinny Castronovo.



I was like, "Who the eff is this kid whose pics are flooding my dashboard?!?! I demand to know!!!"

Okay fine. I was also like, "What a handsome kid." Hahaha :''>

I never really bothered to search on the net who he really was because one: I was distracted with Tumblr and two: Tumblr is distracting me. Maybe I did plan to, but I forgot. I dunno. I got distracted. :P

Then that faithful(chos. FAITHFUL PA! XD)day came when my friend asked me if I knew ABDC:

Me: "Uhm.... I don't know what you're referring too but I do know my alphabets :)"

Friend: "Hahaha. I mean America's Best Dance Crew".

Me: "Ahhh Yan ba?" (Haay naku. I should've known naman that she didn't mean ABCD as in the alphabets but ABDC as in America's Best Dance Crew. LOL)

Around that time, she and my other friend told me to like this fan page and I realized why they were so into ABDC; VINNY CASTRONOVO! HA! I realized after liking the page who he really was: He's a dancer and he and his crew are competing in ABDC. From what I know, his crew, ICONic Boyz, are part of the top 3 right now. It helps that he's kinda cute(just because I had a history on liking a younger guy doesn't mean I like him okay. hehe)

So I was impressed with this kid. Big deal................till I watched this vid on Youchoob. Let's just say I am officially diagnosed with the ICONic Fever AND also had gotten the Vinny Virus. Okay, so I found his crew's dancing a bit sloppy but no doubt they dance great enough for me to be amazed.

I always found him kinda good looking but now I actually think he's really cute(as in shit-ang-gwapo-mo-crush-kita kind of cute). :P :P :P I thought it was weird that I am liking this 14 year old guy but then there are girls my age who too caught the Vinny virus. I can't stress it enough; he's just cute, okay and I can't help but gush about it. (Much to my bff's dismay. hahaha)



What I hate though is that most of the time the ICONic Boyz are being interviewed, he's always standing in the back not saying a thing! Daig pa sya sa pader! Kainis! But when he DOES get to talk, I get kinda kilig and stuff. :P :P :P (Mind you, I feel awkward talking about these kinds of stuff ahahaha).

I don't know why, but I always hear the goddamn Going Bulilit theme on my head whenever I see him. But when he talks, he's like the frickin Godfather(super baba the voice may matching accent pa). Seriously, he's so chubby and cute. It's like he ate a plateful of Cannoli. :)

Regardless of what I just shared in this entry about me having a new guy obsession on Vinny, I still heart this gay...I mean guy. :D (sowee)

Guess Who's Going To Be on The Hunger Games Movie?

Lionsgate probably thought I was making too much kulit to them to cast him in the movie(more specifically, cast him as Peeta) that they rang him up for Cato.

See? I know they'll give in to me somehow. :)) Ako pa! LOL

It was announced last May 11 that Alexander will play the burly and villainous Cato, who is Katniss and Peeta's most feared opponent in the 74th annual Hunger Games. Woohoo! Kontrabida role FTW! (Though I still think Ludwig was robbed of the bida role of Peeta. Boo)

I'm happy because Alexander Ludwig will finally have a movie. I'm a fan of his(a duh)and it's about time he has a film! Unfortunately, I have to wait till March 2012. I waited two years for his return dammit. Gaaah!



I like the girl they chose for Cato's tribute partner, the pscychotic yet fierce Clove(Isabelle Fuhrman). Don't let that pretty face above fool ya. You'll probably remember this:



AAHHHHH! Sana hindi na lang. Kataquote eh.

But anyhoo, great choice of actress because I was able to catch The Orphan a few weeks ago. She's a damn good actress(while I'm a damn scared lady)



They look more like Peeta and Katniss, if you ask me but no doubt a good casting for Cato and Clove. Is it me or eto lang ang ginawang tama ng Lionsgate? Hahaha. If you wanna discuss, comment box is just below. :)

I Still Want Him

WHYYYY, LIONSGATE, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??????????????



Alexander Ludwig is Peeta potential if not Peeta Mellark himself! Laki naman ng biceps ng lolo mo oh. ahahaha

I know, I know; I am overreacting. It's been more than a month since they've announced that Josh Hutcherson will be playing the coveted role but somehow, I can't get over it. Other THG fans, too but most are Team Hunter Parrish. I stand on Team Alexander. God, he's just too perfect!

Possible Reasons Why He Didn't Get the Part:

1. Josh is more Famous than him

SOOO??!?!?!?! Lionsgate would pick him because he's more famous and fans will still watch the movie if he's there regardless of who they chose for Katniss? Adula Amen(Though it makes sense. Unfair naman kung totoo nga). Carrying on....

2. Since Josh is more famous, he has way more credentials

This is stupid. If Lionsgate did accept Josh because of it and didn't get Alexander because he lacks credentials is really stupid. HOW CAN AN ACTOR WITH A FEW CREDENTIALS GET MORE CREDENTIALS IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT HIM BECAUSE HE LACKS CREDENTIALS? Argh. Again. This is only a possible reason although quite a reasonable one.

3.He Has More Advantage than you think

Tall. Blond. Perfect body: those are Alexander's advantages for playing Peeta. But not all people know that he is the son of Lionsgate lead co-chairman Harald Ludwig(Di ako stalker okay. May reliable sources lang ako...at sila yung stalker. Chos). Could this possibly be the reason why he didn't get the part since people will think it's only because he's the son of Lionsgate's co-chair? I know what I said earlier that it's not really a well-known fact, but it's bound to come out once he was announced to be the actor playing Peeta and Lionsgate might be aware of what people might think. But you know, I find this reason quite absurd. He still had to audition for the role like every actor did for the role of Peeta I bet even if anak ka ng presidente ng effin Lionsgate. If he didn't get it, there are other reasons why....and I wanna know.

4.He wasn't really a fan favorite....and Lionsgate knows

Although true, if this was the reason why he didn't get the role we may never be sure. At first, fans liked Josh Hutcherson even though his hair isn't ashy blonde as what the Hunger Games series described Peeta to be. I thought this was a joke but then other people also liked Chord Overstreet to be Peeta or even Alex Pettyfer(NOT HAPPENING EWWW). Then that Jennifer chick was suddenly cast as Katniss and most fans everywhere are rooting for Hunter Parrish. Lucas Till a close second(YUCK! Di nyo ba naaalala to? He can't be Peeta!)

Alexander, on the other hand, I've seen some people giving their approval though they don't outnumber the ones for Hunter(There are lots. Swear). Sometimes I think if I'm the only one who really wants him in the movie. You think Lionsgate is afraid of the THG fans? Like if they cast Alexander, people will be throwing rocks on Lionsgate's office the next day? Sa bagay, they didn't pick Hunter Parrish and probably people threw big ass stones at their offices already. Remember: Everyone has a different opinion. They want this while you like that. Lionsgate also has a different opinion....except their's matter more because they're frickin rich and they're making the film, not you(and me T.T).

Bottomline:

I may waste time making this entry(and enjoying every minute of it)and you're wasting your time reading this entry(which I wish you're enjoying). Di naman kasalanan ng Lionsgate on why they did such a fucked up casting. Author Suzanne Collins was with Lionsgate from the very start on casting and will obviously be there when they're making the film this month. This is the woman we should trust. This is her vision and she had in mind what kind of people should play her successful novel's characters. So she shares the blame on why they didn't pick Alexander Ludwig or whoever actor you were rooting for(and she's also to blame for choosing Liam Hemsworth for Gale. She could've done better on that, too and teh blame for Jennifer Lawrence)

Since The Perks of Being a Wallflower will also be filmed this month, chances are the movie will come out around the same time THG does. Expect me to be first in line for the first screening coz unlike THG, the author picked a great cast for the film(Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev).
